- :Is there anyone has SmartOne 1442FX Modem? I got a problem
- :here. I typed command AT&T1 and it gave ERROR message.
- :According to manual, there's something wrong with it
- :if the result is Error for typing such message.
- :Anyone can explain? Help? D'u think that's a big prob?
- :I've been unsuccessfully connect to local BBS using it,
- :it can connect but no characters appear on my ProcommWin
- :terminal.
-
- The error you are receiving when typing AT&T1 is actually due to an
- error in the documentation. Before typing AT&T1, you need to put the
- modem into a direct mode by typing AT&Q0. Once you receive the OK, you
- would type AT&T1 and would then receive the connect message.
