  22. The error you are receiving when typing AT&T1 is actually due to an
  23. error in the documentation.  Before typing AT&T1, you need to put the
  24. modem into a direct mode by typing AT&Q0.  Once you receive the OK, you
  25. would type AT&T1 and would then receive the connect message.
